Y13 History and politics students hit London!

It's was the annual overnight trip to London for our Year 13 History and Politics students on 23rd-24th September.

Not only did they get to:

1. tour Westminster Abbey, looking at where King Charles was crowned,

2. see the Chapter House, where the first medieval parliaments sat,

3. have a tour of the Houses of Parliament - here they are in the medieval Westminster Hall, followed by a workshop on elections, and

4. visit the UK Supreme Court (original and more modern chambers pictured here).

But they also got to see Phantom of the Opera, have dinner out and even have time for a mini shopping spree (Mr Endersby's highlight of the trip)

And no London trip would be complete without Ms North bumping into someone famous - one year it was Geri Halliwell and this year it was Jacob Rees-Mogg! Well done Ms North...
