Back in July, we reported on the sailing success of our now year 10 student, Edith Phillips, who had fought her way to be placed first girl, third South West sailor, and sixth overall in the South and South West Regional Youth Championships.
In addition to Grace Murphy's success at being appointed to Scotland's U17 Netball Squad, we are super proud to be celebrating the selection of many of our netballers for the Team Bath Pathway, Birmingham Panthers Pathway, Cardiff Dragons Pathway and the East Devon and West Devon County Academy programmes! ![]()
Our U16 hockey team put on an impressive performance at the Devon round of the National Schools Competition, finishing 1st in the county!
Grace Murphy in year 10 is flying high as she has beaten the competition to be selected for the Scotland U17 Netball Squad (The Thistles) !!!
We are absolutely overjoyed to announce that Year 11 student Jessica Klapsia has only gone and won South West Junior Chef of the Year, beating 5 other finalists to the title!!
On Monday 6th October, we welcomed 40 PGCE trainee teachers from SWTT into our school, for a training day.

What a talented, sporty bunch of year 7s we have, with successes coming thick and fast at the moment!
Siena Wilkinson in year 7, normally to be found at home in a swimming pool, swapped her comfort zone at the weekend to take part in her first open water swimming competition.
It wasn't the best week for weather for the Y8 residential, in tents!! But that didn't stop them..
