Combatting misogyny in the workplace..

We were very proud to host a round table discussion on Friday 6th June regarding a proposal to introduce a workplace charter, to support young people in the workplace.

The meeting included local MP Steve Darling and Jennie. Mr Darling was joined by ex-TGGS student Francesca Ranwell Jones, who now works as a Parliamentary Assistant at Westminster.

Three of our Y12 students: Bonnie Skinner, Eleanor Human and Brina Presu and a number of local businesses were in attendance, including TLH, McDonalds, Whistl, Costero Lounge, Wild Planet Trust and Golden Palms Amusements.

The meeting included insights from students at TGGS, best practice and solutions from local businesses.

The meeting concluded successfully with a commitment to action next steps to support measures to combat misogyny in the workplace.
