We are delighted to share the outstanding results of our recent safeguarding audit, carried out by Torbay as part of the Section 175/157 review process.
This exceptionally thorough audit evaluates every aspect of safeguarding within schools, from safer recruitment and staff training to online safety and student wellbeing, across an impressive 173 separate criteria.
We are incredibly proud that 94% of all graded areas were awarded the highest possible score of 5/5, demonstrating full compliance. The remaining areas have already been identified and are being actively developed as part of our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement.
This achievement reflects the dedication of our entire school community. Staff, governors, students, parents and carers all play a vital role in creating a culture where safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. Together, we have built an environment where children are supported, protected and able to thrive.
