🏏 Our Year 8 Rounders team recently competed in the End of Season Rounders Tournament at Churston and produced a fantastic performance throughout the day.
After winning all of their group-stage matches, the team progressed confidently to the Cup competition. In a thrilling and closely contested final, they were narrowly beaten by Teignmouth by just half a rounder, securing a well-deserved runners-up finish.
The girls showed great skill, determination and resilience, adapting superbly to a range of challenging weather conditions, from brilliant sunshine to strong winds and rain. Their teamwork was outstanding, with some excellent batting and fielding on display throughout the tournament.
Just as importantly, they represented the school impeccably, demonstrating exemplary behaviour and sportsmanship at all times.
