A cracking start to a packed cricket week for our TGGS squad, and what a nail‑biter it was!
TGGS faced Tavistock College and opened the match in the field. Despite disciplined bowling, Tavistock’s captain put on an impressive display, setting a tough target of 96.
Our reply with the bat was… eventful... A shaky start and some kamikaze running kept everyone on edge 
Heading into the final over, TGGS needed 5 to win. A couple of singles, another run‑out, and suddenly it was 2 required from 3 balls.
Flo kept her cool with a single. One run needed. Two balls left.
Bria blocked a straight one, then charged through for the winning run with just one ball to spare - a brilliant finish under pressure!! 
A fantastic contest from both teams and a brilliant start to what promises to be an exciting cricketing week for TGGS
