What a hugely successful weekend it turned out to be, with all teams finishing. The weather was almost perfect throughout, topped off with a stunning sunrise on Saturday morning.
Our camp cooks did a fantastic job, rustling up a hearty cooked breakfast to power the teams off, alongside the all important porridge and fruit! 🍳🥣
Saturday was spent taking down some tents, endlessly clicking refresh on the results page, and updating the camp map as each team was tracked by a movable marker—tension and excitement all round!
Sunday saw the 45 mile teams cross the finish line first at a very respectable 12:28pm, followed closely by all the remaining teams, who all performed magnificently. Even more impressively, our 45 and 55 mile teams were the first all female teams in their respective distances to cross the finish line 💪
