2025 A Level and GCSE certificates
Can now be collected from the school reception on the following days in December/January (term time only):
- Tuesdays between 9.30am and 12pm (except 13th January) or,
- Thursdays between 2pm and 3.30pm (except 15th January) or,
Or at any other time, by prior arrangement only, by emailing exams@tggsacademy.org
If you are unable to collect your certificates yourself, you may nominate a representative to collect them on your behalf but we must have your permission before they are collected. Please fill out this form to do so: Microsoft Forms
We will hold your certificates for 12 months before they are destroyed, in line with JCQ regulations. Thereafter, should you require a copy, you will need to contact the relevant exam board(s) where a charge will be payable.

The awarding bodies have designated Wednesday 24th June 2026 as the ‘contingency day’ for examinations in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations in the United Kingdom.
We must therefore remind students that they must remain available until Wednesday 24th June 2026 should an awarding body need to invoke its contingency plan.
Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) Information for Candidates:
In England, examinations are governed by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) which represents the main awarding bodies in the UK.
JCQ publishes a series of documents which provide information for candidates sitting public examinations such as GCSE and A-levels.
