It comes around quicker every year, and it’s definitely a marmite occasion—you either love it and get involved or you don’t! 😄

We’re thankfully past the days of frantic primary school costume panics (no more last minute princess outfits 🙌). Our students now take charge themselves—and their creativity continues to amaze us!

🏆 Costume highlights & prize winners included:

• Good Omens

• The Wizard of Oz

• Trotsky

• Miss Trunchbull + Matilda

• Voldemort

• And the simplest but most effective costume: The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy 🚀

We even had incredible book themed cakes inspired by Paddington, The Book of Monsters, and The Doughnut Club—all delicious and all prize winners! 🍰

Our staff got involved too, with Miss Trunchbull proving especially popular and here’s our English department in various guises.

And the booby prize? Well, that went to Ms Gale and Ms Keen for their Dalmatian duo look! 😂

Another fantastic World Book Day—full of imagination, fun, laughter and cake 😋
