The day had been planned and designed by Chloe Fox of South West Teacher Training in collaboration with our own Ruth Stacey (see grinning pic ).

Sarah Forster welcomed the cohort, sharing her teaching journey to Headteacher, how the impact of education on her from a young age influenced the vision she implemented at TGGS, the importance of an all girls education and the many ingredients to success.

The trainees then received a valuable session on 'intention led planning' from Ruth Stacey before observing lessons in their subject areas, and using this in a practical planning task.

We look forward to welcoming the cohort back again in the spring term for a further two training days and continuing to work closely with SWTT, helping to train teachers in Torbay and the South West
