What a turnout for the Torbay 10K and Half Marathon at the weekend! Not only were there hundreds of runners pounding the pavement, but no fewer than four TGGS staff members (that we're aware of...) were flying the flag for Team TGGS.
🏃♂️ Mr Magee, apparently running as though his Sunday lunch depended on it, stormed home in an impressive 1 hour 27 minutes in the half marathon.
Meanwhile, Mr Whittington, Ms Brown and Mr Tailford opted for a slightly different strategy: soaking up the stunning coastal views, enjoying the fresh sea air and still crossing the finish line in very respectable times.
A huge round of applause to Team TGGS for their fantastic efforts, sore legs, aching muscles and heroic determination, in support of some incredibly worthy charitable causes (£690 raised to date by Tailford for Rowcroft!!). We're not sure what's more impressive: the running itself or the fact they all managed to walk normally on Monday morning! 👏🏅
