Let’s end one of the hottest weeks on record at TGGS on a high 
Huge well done to all our students and staff for powering through the heat!
And what a way to finish… ANOTHER last-ball victory! 
In the Devon U15 hardball final vs QE, held at Abbotskerswell, TGGS held their nerve in scorching conditions. After numerous drinks breaks, QE set a strong 95, but a tense chase saw wickets fall regularly, keeping everyone on edge.
Going into the final over, TGGS needed 5 to win… and with 2 needed off the final ball, a superb straight drive sealed the victory! 
Champions once again! TGGS are now both Devon hardball and softball champions and will represent Devon in the Knight/Stokes Cup next week.
Incredible effort – well done girls!
