Our incredible Gold Duke of Edinburgh team have been beating the heatwave in style by setting their alarms for 4am and hitting the trail by 5! 
By late morning, the hiking is done, leaving time to recharge and stay safe during the hottest part of the day.
From cool, shaded forests 
to peaceful lakes 
and even the occasional castle 
, they’ve been finding the perfect spots to rest and refuel.
Today’s highlight? Standing tall at the top of Pen y Fan, soaking in the blissfully cool air and well-earned views. Absolutely inspiring effort from everyone involved!
