After five determined attempts, our persistence has finally paid off — we’ve secured £334,000 of funding for major roof works, with an additional £114,000 contributed by TGGS.

We are proud to be one of only two schools in Torbay to receive funding in this round, with just six successful bids across the whole of Devon. A huge achievement for our team and a real win for our school community.

Roofing works will begin in late July and are scheduled to be completed by 25th September. With rising construction costs, we’re now working closely with quantity surveyors to ensure the project delivers maximum value.

Looking ahead, we’ll be submitting a further bid this August for essential repairs to the Haystacks roof — fingers crossed for continued success.
