TGGS - get ready to shout “I’m on TV!” because the BBC are officially in the building! ![]()
Today, Year 13 students Bonnie Skinner, Eleanor Human and Brina Presu take centre stage as the BBC visits TGGS to film their powerful Sixth Form campaign, Safety in the Workplace; an initiative they have led to drive real change for women and girls in professional environments.
This morning, a BBC reporter is on site capturing the story behind the campaign. This afternoon, the crew will head to local business Whistl to interview one of their Managing Directors (and proud TGGS alumna, Natalie Bett). They’ll also be speaking with Steve Darling MP, who has supported the campaign from the very beginning.
This could be the moment that sends the students’ work skyrocketing from a local movement to a national conversation.
We are incredibly proud of our students for leading the way, championing safety, and proving once again that TGGS students are truly history makers of the future.
Later this term, our Year 13 leaders will pass the baton to Year 12, who will continue to grow and amplify this vital campaign.
