Huge congratulations to our brilliant girls Ella Halfyard, Maria Wood, Lacey Oldham, and Cassidy Wright who played a massive part in Buckland Athletic’s U18s Devon Cup victory on Friday evening against Marine Academy, Plymouth!
After going 1–0 down early on, Ella brought us level with a superb looping finish over the keeper. Buckland pushed on to take the lead before Maria added a stunning third goal, winning the ball high up the pitch and drilling it into the bottom corner. 
In the second half, Lacey produced a series of outstanding saves to keep the score at 3–1. A late consolation goal made it 3–2, but the girls held strong to secure the first trophy of the season!
We are so proud of this team and their incredible performance!
