TGGS in Top 10% of schools nationally for Attendance
Resilience and aiming high are values that we encourage and aim for all students to develop with us at TGGS. There are two parts to resilience: buoyancy and 'bouncebackability'!
All of our students have shown these at some point over the past few years.
We aspire for all students to achieve excellent attendance to support them to achieve their academic potential and to develop their self-esteem and character skills.
We couldn’t do this without the amazing support from our parents and this joint partnership has been recognised in TGGS receiving an award for high attendance.
The FFT compares data from thousands of schools around the country and the analysis shows that TGGS has attendance in the Top 10% of all schools nationally.
We appreciate that there are many varied reasons why students may not be able to attend school and will offer as much support as we can, where it is needed.
As we move past the half-way point of the academic year we’d like to take this opportunity to thank parents and carers, and say a big well done to all those students who always, and consistently, give their best.
