Come and enjoy our school's first met gala on Thursday 20th June in lunch in the Old Hall, which will be under the theme of climate change in support of a green charity. A competition is open to all years to come up with the best eco themed outfit to display on the "green carpet" which will be judged by a laid-back panel. Prizes will go to the best entries and house points are available for participation. If you don't feel up to joining the competition, come along anyway and support your friends. You can enjoy the catwalk and they’ll be food, drinks and music. You can also take a photo in our eco photo booth. Tickets will be coming around tutors soon for 50p each. Hope to see you there.

Like many of you, we are passionate about stopping climate change.  Please could you join us on Wednesday 19th June at 1pm to help clear litter from the school grounds.  If you are interested in helping, please meet us on the fields behind the Music block.  Please bring your own bag, (gloves optional).  Thank you. From the year 7 Planet Savers.

You must have paid on parentpay for the sponsored walk by end of tomorrow – Tuesday. Please do this – it makes life much harder for us if you do not do it on time. This payment and your parents paying of it works as their agreement for you to take part in the sponsored walk. This money goes to the charities. PLEASE ACT NOW.

Congratulations to the year 8 athletics team who took part in the area athletics last week.  The whole team did really well and were 3rd out of 9 teams. Very well done.

If you want to be considered for the throwing or jumping events at the South Devon Area Athletics on 25th June at Exeter Arena then you must attend trials on Monday 17th 12.45 at the sportshall. (High Jump for years 8 to 10 will be on Thursday 13th June). Thanks Ms Oyo

Further disruption to Art Dept Access.

There will be no access to the Art Dept during break or lunch on Fri, Mon and Tues because of external GCSe moderation.

Apologies for the inconvenience. Some lessons can still go on in A1 but there is NO ACCESS to my room A2 for materials etc.

Year 7

There are lots of events coming up which are taking place in the Dining Hall so from now until the end of the year, please use the Dining Hall at break time and NOT the Old Hall. Thank you, Miss Elliott

Year 9

9BJC Food Technology students - on Wednesday you will be making pancakes in your single lesson and the basic ingredients will be provided (flour, milk, eggs, sugar & lemon).  However, you may wish to bring other toppings such as chocolate and strawberries.  You will be working in pairs so you might want to discuss this with your partner.  Sorry, I forgot to tell you about this on Thursday.

Many thanks, Mrs Heathcote.
