TGGS Represented at Student Chef National Finals 2021

At the end of last term Issy Mills, Y10, and Estelle Roots, Y11, spent the day with Mr Mann representing TGGS at the Student Chef 2020-2021 National Finals in Bournemouth. We were the only school in the country to have two students make it through to the National Finals, in association with the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts! Although we didn’t win, both girls scored extremely high and were both praised by Head Judge and celebrity TV chef Lesley Waters for great food presentation (both scoring 18 out of 20) and for their high level of food preparation skills (scoring 24 and 25 out of 30 for their day of cooking).
