Millfield Swimming Gala
The South West regional relays gala at Millfield School
On Wednesday, 23rd September, the Torquay Girls’ Grammar School swimming squad, consisting of twenty-seven participants drawn from Years 7 to 13 travelled to Millfield School with Miss Stanlake and Mrs Payne to compete in the South West Regional Division schools relay championships.
We entered both an ‘A’ and ‘B’ team into each age category, highlighting the fantastic quality of swimmers we have at TGGS!

The TGGS squad represented the school to the highest level on the day and the A squad times will now be compared to the other six UK regions in order to see if they have qualified in the top sixteen results to be eligible for a place in the forthcoming National School Relays Championships in November at the Olympic Pool, London.
