Last Night of the BSO Proms

Last Friday evening, 11th September, twenty-one students from Year 10 went along to the English Riviera Centre to hear the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra performing their very own version of The Last Night of the Proms.

Armed with Union and St George's flags of varying sizes, they enjoyed a splendid evening of patriotic music from across Europe, followed, of course, by rousing and very traditional anthems of our own nation; Rule Brittania, Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory.

A fantastic evening, many thanks to Mrs Seville for organising this event, and to Mr Walker for leading the chorus. (He was the only one who knew the words.)
