A2 Biology field course
Year 12 students have recently attended a three-day residential course at Slapton where they studied the organisms found in woodland, freshwater, rocky shore and shingle ridge ecosystems. They employed many ecological sampling techniques and learnt how to successfully apply statistics to analyse the wealth of data they collected. Everyone had fun whilst learning lots during this intensive course. The perfect weather sealed what proved to be a very successful trip!
You can see some photographs of their trip here.
