Another great Challenge Day at TGGS!

October's Challenge Day was a great success with students across the school taking part in a variety of fun activities. Year 7 had a "Well-Beings Day", with opportunities to take part in yoga and tai chi sessions as well as mental health workshops and team building games. Year 8 experienced a Dragon's Den day, developing a business plan and presenting their ideas to a panel including local business owner Tony Cobley. Year 9 had a day out at the National Aquarium in Plymouth supporting their current project work in Art. Year 10 investigated a "who-dunnit" mystery as part of a forensic science experience, taking and analysing fingerprints, blood spatter patterns and fibre samples. Year 11's Careers Morning included mini-seminar with Lucy Yarde from the University of Exeter on choosing University Courses, followed by teambuilding exercises and an inter-form sports tournament in the afternoon. We're looking forward to the January's challenge day already!
