Welcome back to an action-packed last half of the summer term and we are immensely proud to start it off with the news that TGGS are the official ESU Public Speaking Champions of 2024/25 !!
Well, what a Ten Tors weekend it was with all five of our teams crossing the line, albeit depleted in some cases.
Join us on Tuesday 24 June for our Open Evening.
A group of our linguists travelled to Pilton Community College in North Devon on Wednesday 5 March to take part in the South West Languages Speaking Competition, competing against a range of different schools from across the region.
We had students presenting on a variety of different topics in French, German, Spanish, Polish and Mandarin.
A massive well done to all took part, but particular mention should go to Amelia Jackson who won her category and Amy Gibbons, Riyanna Goh, Yan Yang Shi, Alice Taylor and Grace White who were runners up in theirs!
TGGS was the only school competing to win prizes in every category - well done everyone!
It's that time of year again!!
