Mr Neighbour, Head of IT, has just returned from presenting work undertaken with TGGS students at the Laboratoire Géoazur at Université Nice Sophia Antipolis (UNS). This has been part of a long-standing partnership between the Computing & IT and Geology departments at the school, and colleagues at the Centre International de Valbonne, and Mr Neighbour was honoured to be the only teacher from the UK invited to present at the conference. As a result, our students will have access to the most up-to-date information regarding the NASA Mars Insight Project (Interior Exploration using Seismic Investigations, Geodesy and Heat Transport) which will be used in a variety of ways to support teaching across the two subject areas.
