Traffic of the Stage

Students in Key Stage Three recently enjoyed the privilege of seeing the excellent Traffic of the Stage theatre company, normally based in London, performing in our very own Old Hall.

They presented a reduced Shakespeare style performance, including scenes from some of the Bard of Avon's most famous plays: Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream and the Scottish Play.

A highly interactive and accesible performance, the group even had some of the students practising a sword-fighting scene and performing as the three witches on stage.  A great production that really brought Shakespeare's plays to life.
