The Sponsored Walk

This summer event involves the whole school walking through Torquay to the Princess Pier.

Here we board ferries which carry us out across the bay and down to Brixham. Once disembarked, the twelve-mile hike back to school begins.

600 staff and students, many dressed up, snake their way along the coastal path in a riot of noise and colour, heading for home.

Over the years we have encountered boiling heat, lashing rain, and once were diverted by an unexploded WWII bomb, but nothing stops this annual stomp.

It regularly raises over £10,000 for charity.
