Sixth Form Induction

Year 12 – Sixth Form Induction – Tuesday 5th September 2023

Tuesday, 5th September is an induction day in school for Year 12. There will be no formal lessons, you will meet your form group, take part in form activities, be given your timetable and other important information. Students should arrive in school at 8.45 am and go straight to the sixth form centre.

On Wednesday, 6th September A-level lessons will begin. You should arrive at school fully equipped for study. Students are expected to provide their own lined paper, folders and writing equipment. Some departments will require students to purchase their own textbooks. Further information on this will be relayed to students during their first lessons.

On Friday, 8th September, we have a day of team building and fun activities. We hope that this will allow students to begin to build their sixth form support network, new friendships, and resilience. Further information will be sent out shortly.
