Cups & Trophies

We have a large collection of cups and trophies. Many of these can be found in the trophy cabinet in the vestibule where there are some very splendid silver cups from previous decades; the old House Hockey cup is truly impressive. However, the cup everyone wants to win is the House cup. This resides in the archive corridor and is adorned with the coloured ribbons of the winning house. It is awarded to the house that gains the highest number of house points which are earned for good academic work, charity fund-raising, or for generally being a good egg. The winners usually collect at least 15,000 house points.

On Awards Day many of the cups are presented, and recently this has included the ‘Lauren Greenway Kindness Cups.’ These are given to students who show compassion, kind-heartedness and consideration for others. They are in memory of, and in tribute to, Lauren Greenway, one of our students who tragically passed away in 2017.

We are very proud to be the first ever winners of the SWAT Challenge Cup. This prestigious cup is contested by all twelve South West Grammar schools.
