TGGS are first UK team at the IEOS 2017

A group from TGGS will form the first team from the United Kingdom to compete at the International Earth Science Olympiad in Nice and Valbonne this summer (21st to 30th August 2017).

This amazing opportunity presented itself as a result of an invitation from a member of the organising committee to Mr Neighbour,  Head of Geology. TGGS has worked in partnership with the host school (Centre International de Valbonne) for a number of years on Earth Science projects, the most recent being the Developing Seismology project (http://tggsacademy.org/TeSS).

You can find out all about the International Earth Science Olympiad HERE.
