School Fund

A warm welcome to our school community from all of us at TGGS!  We are looking forward to working with you to support your daughter through transition to secondary school and during her time with us here, and trust you will support us in our efforts to provide the best possible outcomes for all our students.  

One of the important ways in which we ask for your help is our Charitable Trust (“School Fund”). Contributions made by parents to the fund help us to provide our students with the outstanding resources that your daughter will enjoy during her time with us. These are facilities not normally provided by State Education funding and, indeed, we are increasingly looking to our School Fund to support our “extra” academic, sporting and cultural activities. We are grateful to have had good uptake in support for our school fund in the past, which has allowed us to keep the minimum request amount quite low compared to other local schools, and we very much hope we can expect the same this year, despite the difficult financial climate. 

As a thank you gift, if you sign up as a supporter of our Trust at £10 or more each month, we are offering a FREE House Stationery pack. The pack includes an enamel house badge (worn on the blazer), recyclded A4 Notebook and pen, eco-highlighter and zipper wallet for exams, all with the TGGS name or logo and in house colours.

The packs will be distributed on PARENTS INFORMATION EVENING this year, for you to take home with you.

For administration purposes, please can you select a payment date of either 1^st, 15^th or 25^th of the month when setting up your payment.

Once you have done so, kindly send an email which includes the confirmation (and amount) to: dwilson@tggsacademy.org so that we can make up a stationery pack ready for you to collect on parents' evening. 

If you are a UK taxpayer and agree to us reclaiming Gift Aid on your donations you can complete a Gift Aid Declaration online. Please do take the extra time to include a declaration if you are able, as it has a signiificant impact on the total value of your gift to the school.
